About the prints
This section applies to prints only. Mounts (passe-partout), frames, glass and fittings are not included.
All prints are premium quality professionally printed on-demand by Whitewall, a top, multi-award winning photo printing service used by top photographers worldwide. There are numerous paper types, sizes and finishes you could choose from. To make your choice easier I have pre-selected four sizes and three types of paper that ensure the best quality and excellent detail. You can choose any combination of ‘Paper size’ and ‘Paper type’ from drop down menus. Other options are also available on request. Just get in touch.
Pre-selected prints sizes are derived from standard ISO dimensions ie A4 (30cm longer edge), A3 (42cm longer edge) and A2 (60cm longer edge) but final size may vary depending on the aspect ratio of the image. Square formats are 30x30cm, 40x40cm, 50x50cm, 60x60cm.
Pre-selected paper types are: Fuji Crystal Archive DP II Glossy, Fuji Crystal Archive DP II Matt and Hahnemühle Photo Rag Ultra Smooth
Fuji Crystal Archive DP II is Fujicolour’s leading photo paper for gallery prints used by many pro photographers. This photo paper has a wide colour gamut, and is non-fade for at least 75 years. It is crisp, brilliant and meets the most demanding standards.
Hahnemühle Photo Rag Ultra Smooth is an especially smooth cotton artist paper with a very fine structure and a velvety surface. In combination with the matt finish it is a real all-rounder and it is suitable for both fine art photography and art reproduction. Due to deep black value, very high quality black and white prints can also be created.
Limited editions
All prints are digitally signed. Larger prints (A2 or larger equivalent) are limited to 20 prints each. Smaller prints (A4 and A3 equivalent) are unlimited.
Colour fidelity
For the best photo output I use a high end full-frame gear made by Nikon. Some of my older images were taken by high-end APSC mirrorless cameras and lenses made by Fujifilm. For postprocessing I use regularly calibrated photo monitor with excellent 99% Adobe RGB colour space and the best photo editing software currently available. However, due to differences in displays the colour you see on your screen and in the final print may vary slightly.
Packaging
Your print will be checked by hand, given a protective cover and placed in art-secure packaging to ensure it arrives in perfect condition. Smaller prints are typically shipped flat in sturdy art secure cardboard boxes, larger prints may be rolled and sent in a durable tube.
Shipping cost and delivery times
All orders are printed on demand and sent from Whitewall lab based in Germany typically within 7-10 working days. UK shipping costs are £9.95 for a print up to 60cm longer edge and £12.95 for a print up to 100cm longer edge. For all UK deliveries the shipping costs already include all customs duties, handling fees and import sales taxes. Outside the UK additional costs and time may apply. Please check your country’s import regulations before ordering.
Returns and Refunds
As each print is made to order, returns are not accepted unless the product arrives damaged. In an unlikely event this happens, please get in touch and I’ll make it right.
